Or, you can read my review of Episode 1, Shadows and Dreams, written by Matthew Cody here, Episode two, Hungry by Andrea Philips here, Episode Three, Home, Perilious Home here, Episode 4, The Most Dangerous Game here Episode 5, Umta here, Episode 6, Reality No-Show here, Episode 7, Mourning Train here, Episode 8, End Of The Line here and Episode 9, Whiteout here.
Truth be told, I was expecting this to be a very REVEALING episode - about the world, about how these teens got here - and even though it wasn't, it was still quite a good episode!
Mirror Of Fate is the first episode by Gwenda Bond, and the first episode from the viewpoint of Seyah, who, despite the fact that we've known her from the very FIRST episode, we REALLY know nothing about except a) she's pretty and b) she's a good actress.
Seyah hasn't been a VERY active part of the past nine episodes, more going with the flow than taking the lead, and all that's ever been mentioned of her is from another's point of view while talking about how much Holden stared at her... Or so I remember.
It was quite fun going into the head of a new character. Seyah is half-persian, on her mother's side, which really led to some Eastern World pressures from her parents that as an India, I could really relate to.

I LOVED seeing how Gwenda Bond opened up this whole new character to us so skillfully, and in such a short amount of time, Seyah has suddenly gone from an Airhead Pretty Girl to someone REAL, if you know what I mean!
I also remember complaining in the last episode that NOTHING romantic had happened since the initial crushes, but FINALLY, that all went for a turn in this one with Holden and Seyah AND Inez and Seyah.
While this was an enjoyable episode, I'm sure the next one is going to be explosive, and I AM SO EXCITED FOR IT. Only five to go until the season finale!
