THIS BOOK WILL BLOW YOUR MIND!
Equal parts suspense and tragedy, All This Time is a must MUST read book!
Lydia Fadoul is the victim of hate crimes, because her fiancé brutally murdered two marines on his second tour in Afghanistan. The war, after all, changes everything and everyone. The war leaves behind nothing but scarred survivors, after taking away many other souls.
And Thomas was no exception. After returning from his second tour with severe PTSD and trauma, he takes his own life and days later, he is accused of murdering two fellow marines for no reason whatsoever.
But why? That isn't the Thomas Lydia knew. He was sweet, full of life, and never the type to give up, and never the type to hurt the innocents. So, what can she do? How does she stay away from the onslaught of media and wild accusations just because she is of Arab origin? Nobody seems interested in her story, just to put her down for these supposed crimes she has committed.
Until Marcus. An ex-marine, now full time journalist, he sees that there is something fishy about a five month old murder coming to light a couple of days after the killer took his own life.
All This Time was definitely not what I was expecting and it blew my mind! I loved the plethora of cultures and religions and prejudices brought to light, ones that seat strong even today. I love that undercurrent of pure adrenaline and energy, with the unmistakable element of mystery and suspense, that made this book a brilliant one!
